The Bright Stars departed today from Juba to travel to Kenya for the 2017 CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup. Governor Angelo Taban Biajo has expressed willingness to cooperate with South Sudan Football Association to develop sports in Wau State. The Governor made the statement in a meeting with the President of South Sudan Football Association, Francis Amin Michael, and the Undersecretary in the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, Agum Ring, in Wau on Tuesday. The Governor described the general security situation in the state as stable which he said would encourage sports activities. The Coach of the national team Lim Huong attended the meeting.

The South Sudan Football Association signed a memorandum of understanding with Eye Radio to promote the exchange of information and technical assistance between the two parties. SSFA Secretary General Anthony John Lauro and Vice President Venasio Amum as well as Eye Radio business manager Eric David were in attendance at the signing of the memorandum.
