The South Sudan Football Association and Tristar Transport have signed

The South Sudan Football Association and Tristar Transport have signed an agreement for the sponsorship of the South Sudan national team, which will cover the costs of hiring a foreign head coach for a period of 12 months. Tristar Transport have agreed to contribute $50,000 USD to cover the salary costs of a foreign coach as part of their continued mission to support South Sudan. The agreement was signed between SSFA President Francis Amin and Tristar Chief Executive Eugene Mayen. Mr. Mayen said that Tristar will be looking forward to supporting football in South Sudan and called upon all the private sector in the country to step up their support. This marks an historic occasion for football in South Sudan as it is the first time that a private company has agreed to reach an agreement of this nature with the SSFA.
The SSFA Board of Directors will now commence with the selection process and a shortlist of coaches is set to be announced shortly.
