The Cupar Test for International and Local Football Referees from South Sudan started this morning at Juba Football Stadium under the supervision and instruction of CAF Instructor from Rwanda Mr. Hategekimana Cornelius. The training was officially opened this evening by the Hon. Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports; Dr. Nadia Arop Dudi at South Sudan Hotel in Buluk, Juba. This training brings in 35 Referees from South Sudan. 8 (Eight) of them are officiating at international level and the remaining 27 Referees officiate at national and local federations level. The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appreciated the participation of South Sudan team for the first time in AFCON Qualification to Niger 2019 Under 20 recently in which South Sudan lost 3-0 against Uganda in Juba in their second.   The President of SSFA Mr. Francis Amin returned to Juba after participating in CAF Meeting that took place in Accra, Ghana last week.
