The FIFA President Gianni Infantino has said he is happy with the positive strides South Sudan football is making.
In an interview on Monday after opening the FIFA regional Development office (CECAFA and UNAF), Infantino made it clear that the good governance in South Sudan Football is starting to bear fruits.
“I am glad South Sudan Football is making good strides and we are keeping a close watch to help them get much better. Football needs dedicated people and I think South Sudan are taking the right path,” he added.
Infantino made it clear that he is happy with the governance in the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF). “It is much better than it was two years ago. But we can still do much better and continue to develop and promote football more,” he added.
Francis Amin Micheal, the President of SSFA who has been in office for one-year now said he was happy Infantino is noticing what is happening in South Sudan.
“We shall continue to work harder because we are confident South Sudan has the potential to do better,” he added.
