SSFA sign partnership with Danish organization
The South Sudan Football Association (SSFA) has signed a memorandum of understanding with a Danish organization Cross Cultures Project Association to help develop skills of young children through sports.
According to the Memorandum of Understanding Cross Cultures Project Association will provide access to fund football activities for children affected by decades of war and conflict. The project will focus on integration of school dropouts and internally displaced children returning to their home areas after years of displacement.
The agreement would also include the training of coaches and administrators of South Sudan Football Association. Anthony John Louro, the SSFA Secretary General signed the MOU on behalf of the Association and Ole Stockholm signed for the Cross Culture Project.
Louro said the projected will be implemented in the states across the country. The Manager of Cross Culture Project, Ole Stockholm, said the project funded by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) is seeking to support peace in South Sudan through sporting activities like football especially among children.
