The President of the South Sudan Football Association (SSFA), Francis Amin Michael has said they will work hard to ensure the various national teams get more exposure.
Amin said on Monday that one of the ways to strengthen a national team is to get them engage in many friendly matches as possible and also try to get as many players play professional football.
“Having most of the players playing at professional level most times changes the mentality of players which sinks in well for the national team. With some of our contacts we shall help some of our players get to play professional football outside South Sudan,” added Amin.
The SSFA President made it clear that they have to change their style of doing things after the South Sudan senior side failing to qualify for 2019 Afcon and the U-23 side failing to get to the next stage of the U-23 Afcon and 2020 Olympic Games qualifier.
“We continue to make many contacts that will eventually be helpful in the development of South Sudan football broth for the national teams and the local football itself including the League,” added Amin.
He made it clear that since the Juba Stadium is being renovated under the FIFA Forward program a lot is going to chance because they will have a better facility.
