We need more Stadiums in S. Sudan – Amin
The President of the South Sudan Football Association (SSFA), Francis Amin Michael has said South Sudan needs more Stadiums for football to develop at a faster rate.
“It is always easier to promote and develop football when you have many playing surfaces. It is one area we are trying hard to work on,” added Amin.
He made it clear that as an Association they will continue to work hard that football is developed from the grass roots which will also mean building Stadiums. “We are also working on building a centre were the national teams will be training,” he added.
Last week Amin together with a visiting delegation of Metallurgical Corporation of China (MCC) Ltd visited the Minister of General Education Hon. Deng Deng Hoc.
The meeting focused on the necessary preparation required for the construction of the new South Sudan football stadium that will be situated in the Northern Bari area of Molobor Payam, Lado County in Jubek State.
The Minister assured the delegation of the government’s readiness and commitment to help with the project. The project will however first get approval from the Council of Ministers.
