Former
Champions Atlabara FC have maintained their unbeaten run in the on-going 2019
South Sudan Club Champions League.
Atlabara FC picked
a deserving 2-0 win over Al Malakia on Wednesday in the last Group A game
played at the St. Paul and Peter ground in Juba. Phillip Adisiri and Elio Gido
netted the goals.
The Atlabara
FC team finished top of the Group with nine points to qualify for the later
stages of the Club Champions League. They defeated Koryom FC 3-0 and also saw
off Super Stars FC 2-0 in earlier matches.
Al Qadisiua
FC who also topped Group C in Malakal with maximum points after two wins and Al
Hilal for Group B will now join Atlabara FC to batte in the later stages of the
competition next month.
The three
round robing matches to be played at the Wau Stadium will take place between
June 6-10th.
The top team
will have the chance to represent South Sudan in the regional Kagame Club
Championships in Rwanda in July and the CAF Champions League which kicks off in
August.
