Infantino thanks South Sudan for support
FIFA President Gianni Infantino has thanked the President of the South Sudan Football Association (SSFA), Francis Amin Micheal for his support that has seen him continue as President for another 4-years.
SSFA remains one of the strongest supporters of Infantino’s term of leadership since he became President four years ago taking over from Sepp Blatter.
On June 5th during a FIFA Congress in Paris, France, Infantino was unopposed as FIFA President to serve for another four years.
“I would like to express my gratitude for the confidence you placed in me at the Congress on June 5th, by allowing me to continue to work with you to develop football around the world for a further four years,” stated Infantino in his June 13th letter to the SSFA President Amin.
SSFA President Amin said South Sudan is very happy under the leadership of Infantino and will continue to support him. “We are also determined to continue developing and improving football in South Sudan,” added Amin.
