CECAFA U-20 CHALLENGE CUP: South Sudan – Burundi game moved to Saturday
The Council of East and Central African Football Associations (Cecafa) has re-adjusted the fixtures of the Cecafa U-20 Challenge Cup kicking off this weekend in Uganda.
In the new fixtures released on Thursday evening South Sudan will now start their campaign against Burundi a day earlier on Saturday at the Fufa Technical Centre in Njeru.
Two games in Group A between Sudan and Djibouti and later Uganda and Eritrea will also take place on Saturday at the Pece War Memorial Stadium in Gulu.
Coach Simon James Yor’s team will play their second game against Somalia on September 25th. The best two teams in Group C will join the best three in Group A and B for the quarter final stage.
The regional tournament which will attract 11 teams is sponsored by FIFA.
