South Sudan’s
national football team, Bright Star will use a new kit for the preliminary
round of the qualifiers for the 2021 Total Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) against
Seychelles.
The Bright
Star will host Seychelles in the first leg on October 9th at the Al-
Merriekh Stadium in Khartoum.
On Sunday the President of the South Sudan Football Association (SSFA), Francis Amin Michael received a new set of kits for home and away matches from officials of Garman Company.
Osvaldo
Scalvenzi, Director of Garman Company that produces the jerseys handled over
the kits to the SSFA President. Amin said they will soon sign an agreement with
the Company for continuous supply of the jerseys.
“We shall
have the national team wear the new jersey during the 2021 Afcon qualifiers
against Seychelles,” added Amin.
The Bright
Star need to eliminate Seychelles two legs to qualify for the group stage. The
return leg will be played on October 15th in Victoria.
In-case
South Sudan qualify they will join Burkina Faso, Uganda and Malawi in Group B of
the qualifiers. The group stage of the qualifiers kick start on November 11th.
