Leading
telecommunications company, MTN South Sudan have said they are ready to step in
and support the national team, Bright Star.

Doe- Tamakloe, the MTN South Sudan Chief Commercial Officer said on Thursday
that they are ready to support activities of the Bright Star.
A team from
MTN South Sudan and the President of the South Sudan Football Association
(SSFA), Francis Amin Michael met at the SSFA headquarters in Juba.
The meeting
discussed how MTN South Sudan can be a partner with SSFA to help develop
football in the country. “We are happy that MTN South Sudan and willing to work
with us for the betterment of football in the country,” said Amin.
The
development comes after the Bright Star ejected Seychelles 3-1 on aggregate last weekend to
qualify for the group stage of the 2021 Total Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon).
Currently
Tristar, a global business which transports, stores and supplies liquid fuels
to blue-chip clients supports the national team by availing jerseys and paying salaries
of the national team coach and his assistant.
