Head coach Ashu Cyprian Besong made it clear on Tuesday that he is trying to have several build-up games for the team to get good patterns of play.
On Sunday the Bright Star settled for a goalless draw against Al Ahly Khartoum in a build-up game. Besong said they are trying to strengthen all departments because the opening match is very important in such a campaign.
“We need to take our chances and get a good result when we play Malawi Flames on November 13th,” added the Besong.
The Bright Star eliminated Seychelles in the preliminary round of the qualifiers to enter the group stage where they will face Malawi, Uganda and Burkina Faso.
