The President of the South Sudan Football Association (SSFA), Francis Amin Michael will be among the many Football Presidents from the African continent who will attend a seminar in Rabat, Morocco on February 1st.
FIFA
President Gianni Infantino and CAF President Ahmad Ahmad will also attend the
one-day seminar which will address the issue of competitions, infrastructure
and refereeing.
“This will
be a good opportunity to learn and share with the other participants at the
seminar,” said Amin, also 1st Vice President of the East and central
African Football Associations (CECAFA).
All 54 CAF member
Federation presidents will attend a seminar which will be moderated by Jalal
Bouzrara and CAF head of competitions Samson Adamu as the Rapporteur.
The seminar
also supported by FIFA will bring together the main football stakeholders,
including FIFA and CAF experts, African football legends and security and media
officers, in addition to eminent experts in the fields of strategy and finance.
According to
the programme the morning session will have a participative approach centred on
the development of infrastructure and competitions, while the afternoon
sessions will be devoted to the different models of financing stadium
intrastructire’s building and upgrading, and later tackle the issue of
refereeing.
