SSFA, Malakal Local Football Association Discuss Sports’ Restoration
The President of South Sudan Football Association (SSFA), Mr. Francis Amin Michael, met today with the members of Malakal Local Football Association at SSFA’s head office to discuss how Malakal sport activities can be restored.
The delegation is headed by Mr. Muma Tiger, the President of the Federation, accompanied by the Secretary of Malakal Local Football Association, Anwar Yohannes, Anthony Gordon, Finance Manager and Ton Paul, Deputy Secretary.
Mr. Muma explained to the head of SSFA issues hindering their local Association however, they said that Malakal Local Football Association would like to work hand in hand with the country’s general football association towards restoration of sports activities in Malakal, urging SSFA to retrieve FIFA’s project to setup an academy in Malakal.
The delegation also extended an invitation to Mr. Amin to visit Malakal and officially inaugurate the construction of Malakal Local Federation’s playground and other projects to be implemented in October 2020.
Meanwhile, Mr. Francis Amin accepted the invitation, assuring his readiness to visit Malakal and inaugurate the projects as well as providing necessary support to Malakal Local Football Association. He also urges the President of Malakal Local Football Association to work hard in reviving football activities in Malakal city.
