CAF prepares for World Cup Qatar 2022 qualifying draw
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) will conduct the draw for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 qualifiers on July 29th in Cairo, Egypt.
South Sudan national team, Bright Star is one of the teams that will be drawn at the function to take place at the CAF headquarters.
The FIFA World Cup in Qatar slated for November 21st to December 18th December 2022 will have five teams representing the African continent.
According to the qualification format all the CAF teams ranked between 27-54 will be drawn in the preliminary round.
The 14 teams that qualify from the preliminary stage will join the top 26 ranked CAF teams and will be drawn into ten groups of four teams each.
The leaders of each group will qualify for the final round of the qualifiers.
