SSFA invites players ahead of Cecafa U-20 Championship


The South Sudan Football Association (SSFA) has invited 40 players to start training ahead of the regional Cecafa U-20 Championship slated for September 14-27th in Uganda.

Daniel Gabriel, the SSFA Media Officer confirmed on Thursday that the players invited should report for training starting September 1st.

“All players who have been invited should come for the first training session Sunday at the Buluk playing ground,” said Gabriel.

The Council for Eastern and Central African Football Associations (Cecafa) Secretary General, Nicholas Musonye told ssfaonline.com that all the 12 Cecafa members will participate in the Championship.

Uganda won the last U-20 Championship held in Asmara, Eritrea in 2010.
