SSFA officials complete third training session under FIFA’s executive programme
Two officials from the South Sudan Football Association (SSFA) have completed the third session of the FIFA Football Executive Training Programme in South Africa.
SSFA Secretary General Anthony John Lauro and the Finance Manager Issac Victor Mobutu were part of the group that attended the session that run March 5-8th at the Nelson Mandela University in Port Elizabeth.
The programme is a FIFA collaborative project with the International Centre for Sports Studies and the Nelson Mandela University in South Africa for training of African General Secretaries and top officials in charge of FIFA forward 2.0 programs.
During the third session officials from different member Associations in Africa engaged on Communications, Regulations and procedures as part of Modules 5 and 6 of the third session.
Debbie Derry, the Deputy Director of Communication at Nelson Mandela University highlighted to the members on the current trends of Communication.
The programme is an equivalent to a Masters degree for a compulsory five sessions modular course. It started in October 2019 before the second session in December last year.
“We are happy about the program because it will help us become much better football administrators,” said the SSFA Secretary General Lauro.
