Nilepet Pledges to Construct Dressing & Gym Hall at Buluk Playground

Nile Petroleum Corporation the National Oil & Gas Company today morning pledges to construct dressing and gym hall at Buluk Playground as part of their corporate social responsibility to sport fraternity.
Speaking during a visit to inspect the progress made at Buluk Playground, the Managing Director for Nilepet, Dr. Chol Deng said that the new look of Buluk Playground is a great achievement to sports’ lovers, saying that the National Teams will not face challenge of space to train anymore.
“Upgrading this playground is an achievement to sports’ lovers, this will enable young talents to improve instead of them seating under trees gossiping, playing cards and dominoes. I therefore, urge our young people to utilize this facility in a good way for their benefit. Nilepet gives to the society as part of its corporate social responsibility; we see that it is important for us to support not only other development in the country, but also sport’s development.”

He explained that they will construct dressing and gym hall at the field as part of their contribution to ensure quality standard where sport’s lovers will enjoy at their convenience.

Meanwhile, Mr. Francis Amin, the President of South Sudan Football Association (SSFA) appreciated the contribution of Nilepet towards the development of sport in South Sudan. He called on other well-wishers to follow Nilepet’s footprint, stating that sport fraternity cannot entirely rely on funds donated by world sports’ bodies and the government, but rather sports’ lovers from within the country.

The visit was accompanied by the members of SSFA’s board of directors, Abdaraman Chol, George Kosta and Makur Majok.
