Tristar, SSFA Renew Agreement to Promote Football in the Country

South Sudan Football Association (SSFA) this morning received a cheque of USD 100,000 from TRISTAR as part of their corporate social responsibility to promote football in the country.
Addressing the media, Mr. Amin Francis, President of SSFA expressed his profound gratitude to TRISTAR for extending their support to South Sudan Football Association, saying that their collaboration is very crucial especially towards developing football in South Sudan. He further said since TRISTAR came and support in hiring the Cameroonian coach, a lot of improvements have been registered within Bright Stars and their performance has changed from thirty percent to eighty percent.
Whereas, Mr. Ravneesh Dujla, TRISTAR Country Manager said it was their pleasure to renew their agreement and collaboration with SSFA to promote football in South Sudan, especially amongst youths to change their mindsets from going to opposite direction. He expressed that Tristar is pleased to note significant improvement in the performance of Bright Stars since Tristar and SSFA began their collaboration.
“Last year the National Team performed well in AFCON, CHAN and FIFA qualifiers. The returning of several players playing with foreign clubs has been very encouraging. We are hopeful that the coming year will see even better performance.”
“The SSFA, with the support from FIFA, has worked hard to ensure that a world class football stadium in Juba will be available shortly. The availability of a home ground will definitely help to motivate and improve the team’s performance. SSFA is also trying to promote football among the youth of South Sudan and that is a very positive step,” he acknowledged, ensuring that TRISTAR will continue to work shoulder to shoulder with SSFA and the community at large.
