VP Mama Rebecca Bids Bright Stars Farewell

South Sudan’s Vice President, H.E. Rebecca Nyandeng De Mabior yesterday met with a Delegation from South Sudan Football Association (SSFA) headed by Mr. Francis Amin, SSFA’s Board of Directors to wish and bid farewell to Bright Stars ahead of their journey to represent the country in a friendly match against Cameroon.
She applauded SSFA’s role in developing sport in the Country, encouraging the players to double their effort and raise the flag of South Sudan higher. Mama Rebecca assures the association government’s effort to allocate a budget for sports activities in the Country, adding that her office is going to work closely with youth to develop sports.
She donated ten thousand United States dollars (USD10,000) as part of her contribution to the National Team (Bright Stars) to support their mission in representing the country.
Meanwhile, Mr. Francis Amin, the president of South Sudan Football Association (SSFA) appreciated Mama Rebecca for her support towards sport’s development in the Country.
“I’m very pleased to present #SSFA’s logo to Mama Rebecca Nyandeng de Mabior, the vice President of South Sudan yesterday; I’d also like to appreciate her for assuring to include sports in the Country’s budget this will tremendously boost sports’ development.”
