SSFA Equips NBGS, AAA Females with Coaching Skills

South Sudan Football Association (SSFA) has organized a first Women’s League training in Northern Bhar el Ghazal.
The training which will end tomorrow fifth ran for five days and has drawn together thirty females’ coaches from Bhar el Ghazal Region and Abyei Administrative Area.
Martha Abuk Malek, the head coach for Northern Bhar el Ghazal State expressed her contentment with the training, saying that she has benefited a lot for having acquired basic skills on how to professionalize her career. She acknowledged SSFA’s effort to organize the training and also appreciates CAF and FIFA for providing support, urging them to continue giving more of such supports towards promoting females’ football in the country.
On her part, Amou Kat Dau, head coach for Abyei added that the training has equipped her with all the necessary skills that will help her nurture young people at grassroots levels.
Meanwhile, Charles Modi Valentino, the facilitator of the training said the training was intended to capacitate females’ football skills and knowledge so as to improve their football in the country. He appeals to football administrators to gather funds to facilitate training that can help females administer themselves, appreciating the roles of CAF and FIFA in providing support towards building women’s capacity in football.
