South Sudan Cup 2021 9th Edition Final Match

On Thursday 03.06.2021 at Buluk Training Center: Atlabara Football Club (Juba) were crowned the CHAMPIONS of South Sudan Cup 2021 in its ninth (9th) edition for the season 2020/2021 after securing a comfortable winning victory of two goals to nil (2-0) over Al-Salaam Football Club (Kuajok). The two goals were scored in the 18th and 45th Minutes of the first half of the match by Mr. Mandella Malish a Senior National Football Team Player of South Sudan playing for Atlabara FC (Juba).

The Newly crowned Champions, Atlabara Football Club (Juba) will represent South Sudan in the African Confederation Championship. The Final Match of South Sudan Cup 2021 was attended by Hon. Dr. Albino Bol Dhieu, National Minister of Youth and Sports in the republic of South Sudan together with Mr. Francis Michael Amin the President of South Sudan Football Association and number of Government and SSFA officials including the Presidents and Vices of Kuajok, Juba and Rumbek Local Football Associations.

During the awarding ceremony that was attended by thousands of people at Buluk Training Center, Mr. Khamis Daniel (Atlabara FC Juba) was awarded with a golden glove as the best goalkeeper of the tournament, Mr. Obligi John Simon (Atlabara FC Juba) was awarded a golden boot as the top scorer of the tournament after scoring the total of eight (8) goals and Mr. John Julluk Manyang (Holy Family FC Rumbek) was awarded with the overall best player of the tournament. In the other honorary awards, Captain Peter Barra, Captain Sabit Lumore and Captain Samuel Medeng, were honored with certificates of recognitions towards their service delivery for sporting activities in South Sudan and then Southern Sudan.

Lastly Al-Salaam Football Club (Kuajok) were awarded with silver medals as honor for the second place in the tournament meanwhile Atlabara Football Club (Juba) were awarded with golden medals and trophy as the honor for the tournament
