SSFA Gets $100K from Tristar to Contract a Head Coach

The TRISTAR Company today has submitted a cheque worth one hundred thousand United States Dollars to South Sudan Football Association (SSFA).

The donation is part of the Company’s annual corporate social responsibility to support South Sudan National Team in acquiring a Coach.

Speaking during the occasion, Tristar Country Director, Mr. Ravneesh Aujla presented the cheque to SSFA Vice President, Mr. Charles Udwar and SSFA Secretary General, Mr. Victor Lawrence.

Mr. Aujla expresses Tristar’s readiness to continue supporting SSFA towards development of football in the country, reiterating that football is the only tool that can divert youth’s thoughts from involving into vice practices such as drinking and conflict.

He commended SSFA for doubling its effort towards upgrading football, saying the level of football in the country has greatly improved for the past years.

Meanwhile, Mr. Charles, the Vice President of SSFA appreciated Tristar Company for its financial support towards the development of football in the country. He further acknowledges that what Tristar is doing will contribute to a significant development of football in the country, calling on other companies to follow Tristar’s footprint.

Mr. Udwar assures the Tristar delegation that the fund will be put into proper use to continue elevating the standard of football in South Sudan.

In conclusion, the Secretary General SSFA, Victor Lawrence, assures Tristar Country Director that the management of SSFA will soon contract a new head coach for the South Sudan National Team.
