Editorial Policy

Our aim is simple: accurate, useful football information that respects readers and sources.

Facts first

Every statistic on the site comes from a named open data source or from a calculation we describe publicly. Generated summaries only restate facts that exist in the data; when something is unknown (for example, the family background behind a player's nationality) we say so instead of guessing.

No rumours, no fake quotes

We do not publish transfer rumours, invented quotes or unattributed claims. News headlines are linked to the original publisher, never rewritten as our own reporting.

Respect for people

Player pages describe sporting careers. We do not publish private information beyond what is in public reference sources such as birth date and birthplace, and we remove information on request where appropriate.

Corrections

When we get something wrong we correct it promptly. Report errors through our contact page. Corrections to data that come from Wikidata are also made upstream where possible.

Advertising separation

Advertising and affiliate partners have no influence on rankings, records or text. Ads are clearly separated from content.
