South Sudan’s Bright Star has been drawn in Group K alongside South Africa, Neighbor Uganda and Congo Brazzaville according to the draw for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations, Morocco 2025, qualifiers held in Johannesburg on Thursday, 4th July 2024.
Bright Star will face South Africa for the first time in history, however, it has an enthusiastic record against Uganda and Congo Brazzaville in the past African Cup of Nations Qualifies.
“South Africa and Uganda are great teams because they have reached the final stage, once again we are outsiders, South Africa seems to be the big team of the group. Concerning Uganda, meeting them once again, everything is possible. Regarding the Congo Brazzaville, we know them well but not that they are not the best team, in any case, we are here to give our best and with the support of the fans everything is always possible in football,” Bright Star’s Head Coach, Nichola Dupuis.
