South Sudan Football Association is currently seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Procurement Manager. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient and effective procurement of goods and services for the organization.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies to optimize procurement processes.
2. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish relationships to ensure the best value for the organization.
3. Manage the procurement cycle, including sourcing, tendering, evaluation, and contract management.
4. Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual agreements and quality standards.
5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide guidance and support.
6. Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement.
7. Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
8. Implement cost-saving initiatives and drive efficiency in procurement operations.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management, preferably in a similar role.
3. Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations.
4. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
5. Ability to analyze data and make informed procurement decisions.
6. Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.
7. Strong organizational and time management skills.
8. Attention to detail and accuracy in procurement processes.
9. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
10. Familiarity with the sports industry and its procurement requirements is a plus.
