Robert Zachariah from the Marketing and Investment Committee highlighted ongoing efforts to secure additional sponsors to elevate the premier league. The goal is to match the standards of other African leagues, fostering growth and competitiveness in South Sudanese football.
Secretary General Victor Lawrence Lual underscored FIFA’s endorsement of the league, emphasizing the long-term benefits for player development. This platform will provide players with ample opportunities to enhance their skills, contributing to the overall advancement of football in the country.

The Competitions Committee of the South Sudan Football Association announces that the first South Sudan Premier League will officially commence on November 29, 2024, in Juba, with 10 teams set to participate in the first edition of the league. The competition will end on May 31, 2025, respectfully.
It is also confirmed that the draws will be conducted on the 24th of this month and the final day to confirm the clubs participating in the Premier League will be November 22nd, 2024.
