This came in a meeting held this afternoon spearheaded by Mr. Wiyual Lam, Chairman of the Competitions Committee, the association is paving the way for the youth and junior categories with the upcoming launch of the South Sudan Premier League. Working alongside dedicated members such as Mr. Robert Zakaria and Mr. Victor Lawrence, the focus remains on providing a platform for talented individuals under the ages of 17 and 20 to showcase their skills on the field.
In this meeting, the emphasis was on aligning the league with FIFA regulations. Each team is set to compete in Ninety matches over six months, a strategic move aimed at nurturing grassroots football and securing international recognition for the South Sudan League among the youth and junior categories.

Mr. Wiyual has confirmed that preparations are in full swing for next month’s league kickoff for the 2024/2025 season.
He further added that a consultation workshop will also be conducted for the ten clubs to participate in the South Sudan Premier League for the Senior men’s clubs.
