The agent of the National Senior Team’s players: Amy Lasu and Debora Debby, Tihomir Sloboda has confirmed to SSFA that the two players have reached Europe and final destination in the Lithuanian Premier League.
Mr. Sloboba confirmed that he has settled the players in the Lithuanian Premier League side FK Saned Joniskis on a 1+1 year professional contract.
Amy and Debora are the first South Sudanese female players to join a European league in a professional contract.
“I am very proud to be the first players’ agent in history of South Sudan to successfully connect female players from this beautiful country to play in one of the European leagues — I believe this will give hope and motivation to more girls to work harder and believe in process,” Mr. Sloboba expresses.
