After the visit to the federation, Hon. Joseph Geng Akech inspected Juba National Stadium.
At the Stadium, the minister listened to reports from the engineers concerning the final adjustment of some areas in the stadium as required by CAF before the stadium is opened.
Meanwhile, Hon. Minister Dr. Joseph said that the minister of Youth and Sport will always work with the federation to make sure that sport changes and women’s football improves.
He added that more and quality infrastructures change the competition and also make women’s football advance.

In his part, the president of SSFA Mr. Augustino Maduot, appreciated the minister for his historic visit to the football federation.
” We believe with good infrastructure, we will have quality and high competition in the country”, Maduot added.
Mr. Maduot said that working together will bring positive achievement and change the structure of the game, and believes that the stadium will be opened hopefully in 2024.
The inspection of the stadium was witnessed by the Director General of the Ministry of Youth and Sport, Mr.Edward Satimon, Chairman of the Youth Union, Mr. Gola Boyoi, SSFA vice president, Charles Odwar, SSFA SG, and members of the board of directors.
