Press Accreditation Requirements for South Sudan Football Association (SSFA)

The SSFA facilitates the work of journalists covering local and international matches, ensuring neutrality, objectivity, and professionalism. Accredited journalists are granted press cards to access SSFA information, conduct interviews, and enter SSFA facilities.

Requirements for Accreditation:

1. Proof of Documentation:**

– A letter of assignment from a recognized media organization on official letterhead, signed by an authorized individual, specifying the journalist’s name and assignment duration.

2. Independent Broadcasters/Film Production Companies:

– A letter from a broadcaster or distributor committing to distribute the work.

3. Online Media

– Must be affiliated with a recognized media organization and provide a verifiable address and contact number.

4. Freelance Journalists:

– Must present a letter of assignment from a media outlet for a specific event or period.

General Rules:

– Accreditation is solely for SSFA activities and can be revoked if misused or if conduct harms the Federation’s interests.

– Press passes are non-transferable and will be confiscated if used by unauthorized individuals.

Accreditation Process:

– Submit the “Press Accreditation Request” form with a personal photo and copy of your national ID or passport.

– Freelancers must provide proof of assignment with a media outlet.

– Production companies must provide a valid license and details of covered channels.

The submission of applications starts today 13th of September to the 13th of October. Qualified journalists should submit their applications at the SSFA reception during working hours from 8:00 – 4:00 pm.
