The U-20 national team today 8th, February at Mercure Hotel playground hardens training with full momentum as it faces Egypt in a friendly match on Friday, 10th, February 2023 in preparations for the upcoming TotalEnergies Under-20 African Cup of Nation slated to be played from 19th Feb to 11th March.
Despite the freezing cold temperatures the team displays mental toughness and dedication as the boys continue to push each other during their second training session today in preparation for their first friendly match against the host, Egypt on Friday 10th Feb 2022.
The Bright Stars have been drawn in Group B alongside the neighboring Uganda, Congo, and Central African Republic. South Sudan will start the campaign against Congo on 20th Feb in Suez Canal Stadium.
Reaching the semifinal of the competition means the Bright Stars will aim to bring the trophy home and qualify for the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup in May in Indonesia.
